    13 Haunted Cocktails To Make This Halloween - Thank The "Spirits"

    Spooky Season is here.. We called on the haunted “spirits” to conjure us some Spooky Cocktails. Anyone else feel like Halloween is different this year? No? I mean no stay at home orders - thank the lord. Here we have a list of amazing cocktails you can make this year to make up for last year's fiasco. Let’s get into it. 



    1) Midnight Margarita -


    Rub the rim of a rocks glass with a lime wedge, dip the rim in salt to coat, and set aside.

    Add the jalapeño coins to a shaker and gently muddle.

    Add the 818 Blanco Tequila, orange liqueur, lime juice and agave syrup, plus ice, and shake until well-chilled.

    Strain into the prepared glass over fresh ice.

    Garnish with a jalapeño coin.



    2) Murder on Manhattan - 


    Place ice in a cocktail shaker. 

    Add the Whiskey, vermouth and bitters. 

    Rub the orange peel around the rim of the cocktail glass. 

    Strain the drink into the glass. 

    Add 1 to 2 Real Maraschino Cherries and enjoy!



    3) Deceased fashioned -


    Into a cocktail shaker add Buffalo Trace Whiskey, Spiced Old Fashioned mix, Orange Liqueur, tonic water, and ice.

    Using a long-handled bar spoon stir contents vigorously for 30 seconds.

    Add a teaspoon-size cube of dry ice* into a standard rocks glass, and top glass with ice.

    Strain the Spooky Old Fashioned cocktail into the prepared rocks glass.

     

    4) Bloody Mary - 


    Combine the Ciroc Vodka, tomato juice, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce (if using), horseradish, celery salt and black pepper in a tall glass. 

    Stir well to combine. Fill the remainder of the glass with ice and stir once again. 

    Garnish with a piece of celery and bacon in the glass and a skewer of chopped pickles, cherry tomatoes, and green olives, if desired.



    5) Tricky Tonic - 


    Combine La French Vodka and Topo Chico. 

    Stir Well

    Garnish With Lime 


    6) Bewitched Brew - 


    Buffalo Trace Bourbon & Modern Times Cold Brew

    Stir Well


    7) THE GIN GOBLIN - 


    HOW TO MAKE A GREEN TEA AND CUCUMBER COCKTAIL – STEP BY STEP

    Brew the green tea or buy unsweetened green tea.

    In a pitcher add the green tea, lemon juice and honey.

    Toss the sliced cucumbers and mint in a blender. Pulse until chunky.

    Add half of the green tea mixture to the blender and continue to blend the cucumbers and mint with the green tea until smooth.

    Add the mixture you just blended into the pitcher with the rest of the green tea and stir, until everything is combined.

    Serve with giant ice cubes. Garnish with mint, cucumbers and of course a spooky skeleton!


    8) LOVE POTION #9 MARTINI - 


    Combine pomegranate juice, Smirnoff Strawberry Vodka, and Chambord in a cocktail shaker, and shake it all up.

    Place 1 small piece of dry ice (use tongs or another tool to do this) in the bottom of each glass.

    Pour the martini into the glass (directly over the dry ice).

    Garnish the glasses with the little strawberry hearts!


    9) THE DEVIL'S MARGARITA -


    1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice then add in El Jimador Tequila, lime juice, and simple syrup.

    Shake until chilled and pour into a glass of choice.

    Set a spoon at a 45º angle placed barely inside the margarita mixture with the back of the spoon facing up towards the ceiling.

    Pinch the top of the wine bottle with your finger and slowly pour the red wine over the back of the spoon so it drizzles on the surface of the margarita. Pour until there’s about 1/4 inch later of red wine.

    Serve and enjoy!


    10) THE GRAVE DIGGER - Now we ain't sayin' she a grave digger, but she ain't messin with no weak liquor. 


    STEP 1. In a 12-16 ounce glass, combine the hard cider and Blanton's Gold Bourbon.

    STEP 2. Fill with crushed ice. Fill to top off with ginger ale or ginger beer.


    11) BLOOD ORANGE FRENCH 75 - 


    2 blood oranges (additional oranges needed for garnish)

    1 1/2 cups Tanqueray Gin

    2 tablespoons sugar

    1/2 teaspoon angostura bitters

    2 750-ml bottles sparkling wine, Champagne, or Prosecco


    12) THE RAVEN -


    2 ounces Heaven’s Door “The Bottle Haus” Cask Strength 

    1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice 

    ½ cup pomegranate juice

    black feathers, for garnish 

    maraschino cherries rolled in red sanding sugar, for garnish

    To prepare garnish, spear a sugared maraschino cherry with a black feather.

    To prepare a cocktail, combine whiskey, lemon juice, and pomegranate juice in a cocktail shaker. Fill with ice, cover and shake well. Strain into a rocks glass filled with ice. Garnish with feather.


    13) Black Sangria - 


    HOW TO MAKE BLACK SANGRIA

    There is nothing complicated about this libation! 

    Slice the ingredients and add them to a pitcher.

    Add the wine and brandy in with the fruit.

    Stir with a wooden spoon and place it in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

    Add the sparkling water before serving.
